The woman, in a black mini dress and brown curly hair, introduced herself as Verna. She immediately showed her funny side by teasing Kuya Willie. She had her own jokes and was liked by the audience. Asking about what she would like to be called, Verna said that she would like to be known as Venus. Or probably Athena, because Athena was known for her beauty.
But Kuya Willie had other things in mind. He was going to name Verna as none other than “Pekla.” People noticed the obvious similarity with Super Tekla’s name. Sparking rumors that Verna was going to be his replacement in the show.
The host later introduced Pekla to Donita Nose, the resident comedian of the show. Pekla was going to sing but Kuya Willie decided to introduce her to Donita, who was the partner-in-crime of Super Tekla. They brought joy to so many viewers of the show.
That’s why netizens who watched the video in YouTube were not pleased. They thought that Super Tekla is way better and funnier than this new recruit. Some think that she was planted in the audience and everything was set up.
